School of management ZMU, founded in 1985, one of the earliest medical college to setting health management department, which in order to cultivated students with public management and health management experience. School of management setting 6 departments, public administration, health management, health economics, public infrastructure, medical psychology and psychological health education, and also setting 3 search centers, which are health policy and management research center, mental health research center and health management training platform. School of management based on 6 departments and 3 search centers which become to major training institutions and advisory body with health management.
The school of management has 34 full-time teachers, including 3 professors, 15 associate professors, 7 doctors and 26 masters; and 4 of people having master instructor qualification. Our school setting undergraduate program with management of public services (four directions: health management, medical services management, health and community management), and two of majors for master’s degree with medical service management and public administration. And then, it has formed a five-disciplinary specialties direction: health management and policy (academic and professional), hospital management and health care (academic and professional), social psychology and human health (academic and professional), community management and community services (professional) and public crisis management (professional). In latest five years, the teachers working in school of management who are published more 200 papers in various academic journals, and refer to edited more than 20 textbooks, received more than 30 scientific research projects, totally gaining more than 200 million research funding. Our school achieved two of the National Social Science Fund in 2012 and 2013 respectively, and one of the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Science Planning Project in 2013, assuming one of Ministry of Science “second five” planning project sub-item in 2014. The school of management totally has 376 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The school of managementtaken strategy with “go to outside, invited in it”to encourage our teachers go to outside to join some academic lectures and communication with other insiders, and invited some specialists to our school giving lecture and invited them to be visiting specialist. Our school has established cooperation project with other universities, including Ningxia Medical University, Chongqing Medical University, Huazhong University, Anhui University and Guiyang Medical College. The school of management ZMU insisted“the subject development as core, teaching staff construction as basis, scientific research as power” principles to createfirst-class school in Guizhou province.
